University woodwinds job postings, 6/6/08

Another national search for a full-time professor of multiple woodwinds has been announced. This makes the third one in a week’s time!

  • Bethune-Cookman University (Florida) – “Teach courses in applied woodwinds (priority will be given to Clarinet Principals), woodwind methods, coach woodwind ensembles, and teach courses in areas of expertise as needed.” See the listing

This is another short-notice listing, looking for someone to start this fall. In my last job listings post I was hopeful that the sudden spate of woodwinds jobs was a good sign for doublers in academia. Now I wonder if something terrible is happening to all the multiple woodwinds professors…
