- Composition, Orchestration & Arranging: Woodwind by Pete Thomas. Contains a few remarks about doubling. Also has some useful info about the strengths and limitations of various members of the woodwind section, including the full clarinet, saxophone, and flute/piccolo families, oboe and English horn, bassoon and contrabassoon.
